Since this season, IDEFIC Imatia is the name of the basketball team of the FIC (Faculty of Information Technology of A Coruña), founded in 2011 and currently competing in the 3rd Galician division.
The team is composed of students of this faculty of the University of A Coruña, and also of some people of imatia who are also passionate about basketball. IDEFIC Imatia, contesting their home games at the pavilion “La Normal” (old Faculty of Teaching), has finished this season of 2015-2016 at the 4th place, with a balance of 9 victories and 7 losses.
The sponsorship of imatia came to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the Galician universities and even more to students of studies related to information technologies and communication. The TIC is where recently also took place the “I’m Innovation Challenge” as published before.
