SOCIAL TV allows seniors to use their usual TV to entertain and communicate easily with their loved ones. SOCIAL TV‘s various services have been designed to be accessible to seniors. No technical knowledge required.
A tool for support, communication and entertainment
Social TV is a platform that allows people to communicate and entertain themselves in a simple way using the television as a device. Through the Social TV device they will be able to turn their television into a help, entertainment and communication tool very easy to handle through a simple remote control.
It works like a normal TV with an uncomplicated remote control.
SOCIAL TV works like a traditional TV. Each channel is a type of service and the elderly person uses a simplified remote control to move through them. Simple and uncomplicated. When accessing Social TV the index is presented to the users (Channel 0). By pressing the corresponding number or by “Channel Up” and “Channel Down” the service is selected.
Videocalling, photos, appointments, games and much more.
Remote configuration
Each elderly person will have a user or users (family member, caregiver, etc.), who will act as “Managers” of their experience with SOCIAL TV and will be in charge of:
- Configure their personal data, including their likes and hobbies.
- Add or remove people they can talk to.
- Keeping their calendar events up to date.
- Manage photo and video albums.
