Imatia just signed a collaboration agreement with German company GBTEC to develop new BPM products and commercialize them in Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets.
GBTEC Software + Consulting AG specializes in business process and information management (BPM), successfully combining consultancy and software development, such as BIC-Suite, the leading BPM (Business Process Management) solution in the German market. Amongst its clients are multinationals that trade in the DAX as well as large and medium sized companies and public entities.
For the German company, this agreement increases its offer of development services. With its new cloud solution “BIC Cloud”, GBTEC provides one of the first platforms in the market that allows organizations of all sizes to model and share their business processes using any browser or mobile device, implementing the latest web technologies, such as “Responsive Web Design” and “Single Page Application”. It also allows the company to access Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets, where Imatia already has a strong presence, especially Spain and Brazil, as well as improve its support services in these territories.
Although Imatia has been developing process-oriented solutions for many years in applications such as e-Government, Industrial Logistics or Insurance Claims Processing, and its technology platform includes tools that allow modeling and executing processes, the solution offered by GBTEC offers enormous power and ease-of-use when modeling and sharing business processes in the most complex organizations, as well as totally complying with standards such as BPMN and integrating with platforms such as SAP. Furthermore, entering the German market hand in hand with GBTEC gives Imatia access to many of the most important companies in the country and in the world.
Gregor Greinke, CEO de GBTEC has commented: “We are very impressed with the technological capabilities and innovative solutions that Imatia offers us. In Imatia we have found a partner of the right fit with which we have closed a collaboration agreement that provides very important synergies to both parts. Both companies have much in common, not only technologically, but also in what refers to their corporate structure. Both companies have experienced a very rapid growth in the last 10 years, and are very similar in size, around 100 employees. We are very satisfied with signing this collaboration agreement and the multiple possibilities that it brings, not only to us but also to our customers, thanks to the complementary services that we can now offer”.
On behalf of Imatia, CEO Fernando Vazquez concludes: “We couldn’t have had a better entry into the German market. Our connection with all the team at GBTEC has been great since day one and we’ve reached an understanding in record time. Besides having taken many similar technological decisions, we share values that are very important to our company such as transparency, win-win and agility”.
