Imatia, as part of the Senior TV, project, was present last October in this international forum, which has been held annually since 2009 in various European cities.
This forum demonstrates the latest innovations in projects that are part of the AAL Program (Active Assisted Living Research and Development Program), an initiative of the European Union encompassed in the Horizon 2020 Program, which aims to improve the quality of life of the elderly people through the development and use of innovative and sustainable solutions based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
In this year’s forum, our Senior TV R&D project was present that we developed in partnership with six other companies from Cyprus, Holland, Romania and Slovenia. The project, which is already in an advanced stage of development, has as its fundamental objective the development of a platform for Smart TV that allows the provision of services to people of advanced age.
Sira López and Cibrán Ledo, as the people responsible for this project in Imatia, were present at this event held in the Portuguese city of Coimbra. There they were able to establish contacts and exchange experiences with other professionals and suppliers of the technology sector interested in aging, as well as representatives of public institutions and investors seeking new solutions and innovations.
