IMATIA PARTICIPATES IN THE 2011 GALICIA ENTREPRENEUR DAY.

Imatia Innovation participated on October 25th in the event “2011 Galicia Entrepreneur Day”, which was held in the Congress and Exposition Center in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

As part of the program, one of the founding partners of Imatia, Eduardo Carmena, participated in a roundtable titled “Business Opportunity: Starting a Business from the University”. During his address, Mr. Carmena shared Imatia’s experience, as a spin-off of the University of Vigo and how it has evolved since its inception in January 2006, pointing out accomplishments and challenges along the way.

The Galicia Entrepreneur Day gathered more than 2000 people in Santiago with a clear entrepreneurial spirit. Organized by three important organizations within the Galician public sector, the event aims to support and guide entrepreneurs in their business ventures, mainly in financing matters.
