Elastic Aqua Business Makes a Splash at this year’s World Fishing Exhibition

Alongside the R&D Department of the University of Vigo, Imatia presented Elastic Aqua Business at the WFE, which was met with much enthusiasm.

Not surprisingly. Elastic Aqua is a complete software solution that allows real-time control in fishfarms.  The program covers the entire production process and provides full traceability. In order to improve the decision-making process using what-if scenarios, all the information is centrally located and easily accessible to those who need it, regardless of the number of plants and users. Its flexibility and customization allows changes and modifications to suit each company’s needs.

The idea initially emerged when Imatia was asked to provide a solution for Pescanova, a leading company in the fish farming sector. Six years later, Aqua Business is still being utilized today.
